OptiMono 100 is an new film built on a new Filmotec emulsion made in Wolfen, Germany, it delivers fine grain, moderate contrast and smooth tonal transitions, producing negatives rich in detail and subtle greyscale tonality. Rather than favouring strong contrast, OptiMono 100 preserves highlight and shadow detail, making it particularly well suited to scanning, darkroom printing and creative post-processing workflows.

Its tonal response naturally renders red tones slightly lighter and green tones slightly darker. The result is flattering, smooth skin rendition in portraits, while vegetation and natural landscapes gain additional depth, texture and tonal separation.
