HAS65 500T 135-36
The latest version of Kodak's Vision 3 "motion picture film" - AHU (Anti halation undercoat). This is ISO 500 Tungsten (for warm light, but can also be used outdoors and gives a slightly cooler tone). DX-coded.
The film does not have a remjet layer (like the previous version, which had to be washed off to be able to develop in C-41 and get "halos" around light sources), but has an AHU layer on the emulsion side, which is washed off during the development process. The AHU also gives the film a protective layer so that the emulsion is not scratched so easily. The film therefore does not give any "halos" as the previous version did when the remjet layer was washed off. Otherwise, it gives the same "filmic" appearance as the previous version. The film can be developed in both C-41 (regular development) and ECN-2.
