Terms of purchase
Terms and Conditions
Order, Payment, and Prices
When you complete your order on the website, an order confirmation will be sent to your e-mail address.
In the confirmation, you will find all details about products, price, billing and delivery address.
If anything is incorrect in the order confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible via e-mail.
We offer the following payment methods for purchases on the website within Sweden: card payment and Klarna. In the store at Kocksgatan 25, we offer Zettle card payment and Swish.
For payments on the website from other countries, you can pay with Visa or MasterCard.
All prices for new items include 25% VAT (books 6%). Used items do not include VAT.
Delivery Terms
Our delivery times are normally 2-3 days within Sweden. Orders abroad usually take longer. Orders placed on weekends will be shipped at the earliest on the next business day.
Should delays in delivery occur (without us notifying you of a longer delivery time), you should contact us by e-mail.
We will do everything we can to fulfill your order. There may be occasions that make it impossible to complete the order, for example, when our supplier or freight forwarder cannot fulfill their commitment to us. We reserve the right to disclaim any compensation to the customer regarding delivery delays. We also accept no responsibility for delays/errors due to circumstances beyond the company's control (Force Majeure). Examples of this may include labor disputes, fires, wars, government decisions.
We also reserve the right not to be able to deliver an item in case of stock balance errors in our warehouse, even if an automatic order confirmation has been sent to you as a customer, and even if you as a customer have already paid for the item.
We reserve the right for any typographical errors and incorrect pricing on the website. We have the right to cancel a purchase if we have mistakenly set an incorrect price for an item, or mistakenly given incorrect information about an item/service.
Standard Delivery: Delivery within Sweden costs 39 SEK fixed price.
Delivery takes place either directly to your mailbox or can be picked up at the nearest collection point. You can also pick up your goods free of charge at our premises at Kocksgatan 25 in Södermalm.
The cost for delivery within the EU is 250 SEK trackable, but not insured. For delivery to the rest of the world, please contact us for more information before ordering.
Right of Return and Right of Withdrawal
When purchasing goods on the website, you as a customer have a statutory 14-day right of return, valid from the date you received an ordered item (this only applies to customers within the EU).
You must notify us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase. Notification should be sent to our e-mail. Your message must clearly state your name, address, e-mail address, order number, and which items the return applies to.
The return must reach us within those 14 days.
As a customer, you are responsible for the return shipping cost, but you will be refunded the original shipping cost.
New items must be returned in new condition, and returns will not be accepted if there are signs of use. For returns of used products, we reserve the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the depreciation compared to the original value of the item if the product is used or damaged.
The product must always be returned in its original packaging (if one was included with the purchase).
The right of return does not apply to film, chemicals, and photo paper as they are considered perishable goods and can deteriorate if not stored correctly.
We do not offer an open purchase policy, neither through the webshop nor in the store.
As a customer, you also have a right of withdrawal, which means you can cancel the purchase before we ship it to you. Notify us at info@kamerastockholm.se. If the item has already been shipped, the above right of return applies.
See above for what applies if we believe the item has decreased in value due to wear and tear since the product was purchased.
Complaints
We inspect all products before they are sent to you. Should the product still be broken or faulty upon arrival, we undertake, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation, to rectify the fault free of charge.
You must always contact us for approval before returning a defective item.
The complaint must be sent immediately after the defect is discovered.
If the product has been damaged during transport to you, you should contact the transport company that carried out the transport.
If we are unable to rectify the fault on a new or used item, or deliver a similar product, we will refund you for the defective product in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. The above applies to approved complaints. We cover return shipping for approved complaints.
Used Product Warranty
The warranty on used products is 2 weeks (does not apply to items sold on commission). If a used product is not covered by any warranty, it will be stated in the advertisement.
The warranty covers faults that do not arise from external damage. The warranty therefore does not cover, for example, moisture or impact damage. If we are unable to rectify a fault covered by the warranty within a reasonable time or at a reasonable cost for us, we will refund you the money for the defective product. You must always contact us before returning an item.
If we determine that the fault falls outside the scope of the warranty, the fault will not be rectified free of charge, and we will not refund the purchase price or the return shipping cost.
The item can then be returned to the buyer against a new shipping fee to be paid by the buyer.
Limitation of Liability
We do not take responsibility for indirect damages that may arise due to a product you have purchased from us.
